In 2014, Maria received her Bachelor’s of Science degree with an emphasis in Finance from San Diego State University. She started off her career in the retail world where she acquired management experience and essential skills from working in a service oriented field. Maria then joined the real estate industry where she handled the payroll and accounting responsibilities for a local, family owned business.

Maria enjoys camping on her free time and she challenges herself to explore new places. Being a San Diego native- she loves to attend concerts with friends and family in the several arenas this beautiful city offers.

It’s important for her to always be respectful with everyone she collaborates with. Maria takes a lot of pride in her work and has a strong work ethic that she’s excited to bring to UC San Diego’s Department of Music.
