Dear UC San Diego Music Community:

The safety and security of our students, staff, faculty members and greater community is our highest concern. In consultation with campus leadership, the UC San Diego Department of Music has immediately canceled or postponed all public concerts through May 10.

In order to maintain our academic mission, the Department of Music continues to support select performances directly related to courses or those that are essential for student degree progress. These events will be visible on our Events Calendar, but please note that they are closed to the public. We are hoping to be able to provide a live streaming link that will enable remote audiences to view these concerts. The Events Calendar will be regularly updated with more information as it becomes available: http://music.ucsd.edu/concerts

Additional resources and information about UC San Diego’s response to COVID-19, may be found at UC San Diego’s COVID-19 website.

We ask for your patience and continued support as we work diligently to maintain our academic mission while protecting the health and safety of our community.

Sincerely,

David Borgo
