Katara Conroy, Undergraduate Advisor

My passion for education surpasses most. It is a strong belief of mine that it is not enough to have an academic knowledge of the student cycle. A successful student advocate has the student’s best interest at heart by taking a holistic approach. This approach looks at the student’s extrinsic and intrinsic motivations; has the keen ability to make a fundamental connection with the student and their family; and ultimately know all aspects of a student education cycle. I not only take a holistic approach with my students, but I take it a step further by actively immersing myself in the university.

With a B.S. in Psychology, M.S. in Forensic Science and a background in Marriage Family Therapy, I strive to encourage all my students to achieve success in their goals. The Golden Rule to live by: It is easy to get lost in the every day shuffle but achieving your goals can be obtainable if you set your mind to it. Make the system work for you!
